MY FANTASY RACER
The Ultimate Driving/Racing Experience
OFFICIAL PRELIMINARY RULES AND REGULATIONS:
1. All Contestants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of Competing in this Motor Sports Event. You must possess a Valid Driver's License and Present it at the Event Registration and Welcoming Party.
2. All Contestants must be of Legal Capacity as described in the Laws of the United States and the States of Arizona and Tennessee or such other state where scheduled events may be conducted.
3. For Safety Reasons, All Contestants must be physically able to climb in and climb out of the Race Car through the Driver's Window with minimal assistance.
4. Contestants should be in reasonable minimal health. We DO NOT discriminate based on Handicap except where such Handicap would cause unreasonable risk to the Contestant, other Constestants, the Staff and Crew of MY FANTASY RACER, the RACE ON DRIVING EXPERIENCE , MEMPHIS MOTOR SPORTS PARK and Spectators of the Event.
5. We DO NOT discriminate based upon National Origin, Race, Creed, Religion, Gender, Sexual Orientation, or For any reason outside of the Safety of All Participants and/or as is mandadted by application of law.
6. As with any television program, the Owners and Producers of MY FANTASY RACER are seeking certain and sometimes unique
personalities. NOT ALL APPLICANTS will be selected for appearance on the Program. In Addition to the Application Process, There will be a Personal Interview Process.
7. By submitting an Application, you agree that during any portion of this process, the Owners and/or Producers of MY FANTASY RACER may use your likeness, photos and video taping in any capacity including but not limited to advertising, promotions and highlights of the program with no monetary compensation. Contestants who selected for a competition
appearance on the show will be paid a weekly Contestant Fee.
Contestant Fees will be treated as 1099 Income and payment of taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the Contestant.
8. The Owners, Operators, Managers, Employees, the Staff and Crew of MY FANTASY RACER, RACE ON RACE CAR DRIVING SCHOOL, MEMPHIS MOTOR SPORTS PARK, the INVESTORS, ADVERTISERS, ALL AFFILIATES and SPONSORS are not responsible for Equipment Failures During any Competition. Equipment Failures are deemed an ACT of GOD and just like the Pro's of the NASCAR circuit, the Race and Schedule will Continue except in the event of UnSafe weather Conditions.
9. In the possible event of weather and safety concerns, the schedule will be extended to accommodate production schedules. In the event of any extention in the filming or production schedule due to weather and/or other safety concerns, the Host Hotel may be changed, at the sole discretion of the event organizers to meet prior commitments of the Host Facility. This may include a change in the location of the actual racing event.
10. Any Contestant may be disqualified, at anytime, for safety infractions and violation of any applicable rule, regulation or agreement associated with your participation in the events and program.
11. Applicants understand that each event program will start with 16 contestants and that points are awarded for participation and performance in our in-class training, on-track training,
drivers training, endurance and time trials. Only 12 contestants with the most accummulated points, 3 on each team at the end of the time trials, will be entitled to compete in the feature event.
12. Contestants understand that in the event they should win any
weekly program race, they will be required to return during the 13th week Championship Race for a refresher training course and
our extended Grand Championship Race program. Contestant's will be required to sign our contract including return agreements prior to final acceptance as a contestant.
13. All Contestants shall be required to sign a liability waiver before being allowed to participate.
14. Any Contestant Resident from Outside the United States is Required to be Legally admitted into this Country in order to compete.
15. Contestants travel and other arrangements will be provided by the show however, applicants are responsible for their own expenses subject to the Interview, in which every effort will be made to schedule you for appearance at the location nearest you.
16.. In Order To Be Considered as a Contestant, you MUST complete a preliminary application as available on the Contestant Page of this Web site.
17. Due to the nature of this Competition, consumption of alcoholic beverages at anytime during these scheduled events, the entire four day period, or as otherwise exteneded as stated within, is expressly prohibited and violation is subject to disqualification.
18. Upon arrival, by luck of the draw, each contestant will be assigned one of our Sponsor Teams. You will be outfitted in your Sponsors Team Wear and Required to wear your Team's Uniforms and/or Colors at all Events at theTrack.
19. Various Points are Awarded for participation, performance and grade scores during the mandatory training. Points will be awarded for team and individual events with ample opportunity to earn additional points throughout the four day event. These Point Awards will be added to your Time Trial point time and the combined total will determine Pole Positions for the Race as well as used to calculate the top twelve (12) performers who will go on to race in the week's 40-Lap Shoot Out Race. Unfortunately, the low point earner on each of our four (4) teams will be eliminated prior to the 40-Lap Shoot Out Race. This Competition is designed to give each Contestant a fair and equal chance to win. Winning the Challenge is not limited to the best driver only. We encourage you to do your best at all times and in all challenges.
20. Every Contestent starts this Competition on an even playing field. From the moment you arive, our professional staff and crew's are keeping a watchful eye on you and you are adding and subtracting valuable points that in the end could place you in the top twelve (12) to race in the Grand Finale or place you in the bottom four (4) and elimination from the Grand Finale. One (1) contestant from each of four (4) teams will be eliminated. This is non-stop competition every minute of the day and into the night.
21. By submitting an initial application, the follow-up application and attending any of the personal interview events, you extend authorization to MY FANTASY RACER to use you image, without compensation to do so in any and all advertising mediums, including but not limited to print and film, or as otherwise deemed appropriate without notice or further authorization and shall make no claim thereof. These rights are transferrable by the owners, sponsors, advertisers and management of MY FANTASY RACER.
THESE ARE THE PRELIMINARY RULES AND REGULATIONS ONLY. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE PRESENTED TO YOU PRIOR TO CONTRACTING YOUR SHOW APPEARANCE.
