PRIZES:
As if being a contestant on this show and living the dream of this experience was enough, in and of itself, we got some wonderful prizes and big cash dollars you will be given the chance to win. First of all, we know you’d probably be willing to pay us for this chance, so make your check payable to…oh wait we are going to pay you. Hum!
That’s right, not only are we going to give you the time of your life, we’re going to pay you for your time and your appearance on our show. No, you won’t retire on it, but it should help offset any time you may take off from your regular job. The amount isn’t locked in stone as of the time of this writing, but we intend to pay you between $500.00 and $750.00 for the four days you will be with us. Just so you know we have calculated our budget using the $750.00 compensation. Also, just so you know, this will be provided at IRS 1099 Income and received with an attached IRS statement that we will be required to file with the IRS. You are responsible for reporting your own income and payment of any Federal, State, or your local taxes due.
We will also be paying for your round trip travel expenses. If you live outside a 200 mile radius of Nashville, Tennessee, our travel coordinators will contact you to make air travel or other arrangements. If the nearest major airport to where you live is within 200 miles of Nashville, Tennessee other arrangements will be made, including you having to provide your own transportation. For those within the 200 mile range, a gasoline compensation will be made at a set rate per mile calculated using the Map Quest® mileage charts.
Once you arrive at the Host Hotel on the date of check-in, your room accommodations will be provided for you as well as three meals per day, exclusive of the day of check-in and the day of check-out. Snacks and beverages will be available free of charge at all event locations as well as an evening snack buffet at the end of each day. We will be in the south so expect some good ole southern hospitality and some of that good southern cooking. In your Contestant Contract you will be asked to inform us of any special dietary needs you may have. By the way, that little flat thing that comes with dinner, no that’s not a pancake, its cornbread, so save yourself the embarrassment and don’t ask for the maple syrup. I did that once! I thought I was going to die!
During various challenges and competitions we will have prizes and cash awards available to those who do well. The total prize money to be awarded each week is $75,000.00. This includes the Weekly Grand Prize, the prizes to the winner of the race, and other cash awards. We will also be giving away other prizes like cars, exotic vacations, and just about everything else you could want. The total value of each week’s prize package exceeds $200,000.00. That’s a lot of bling-bling for you to enjoy.
We will keep you entertained too. Not only will we have plenty of activities going on at the track and at the Host Hotel, but one night we’ll take the whole gang out and see the town. Nashville, Tennessee has the proud reputation of being America’s biggest little town with the friendliest people around. During your stay, we might go see the Parthenon, an exact replica of the Parthenon in Greece, we may visit Centennial Park, the Opryland Theme Park, the Opryland Hotel, take a leisurely on the General Jackson Riverboat along the Cumberland River, visit Music Row, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and maybe even attend the Grand Ole Opry, the last surviving live audience radio show. Who knows for sure where you will go, Nashville is rich in history and so we promise wherever it is, it will be memorable and only add to your experience with us.
Those who are lucky enough or skillful enough to win their Weekly Competition will be invited back for our extended Season Finale episode. The Season Finale episode is called the Grand Champion Challenge of Champions and will feature a spirited competition between the winners of each previous weekly episode. Since you will have already gone through the training, less focus will be spent on training, and only a refresher course or two will be required, with exception to new training preparing you for a high performance road race in high performance Corvettes or Vipers. That’s right, in addition to racing on the track in an extended 80 Lap Shoot-Out Race, which will now include at least one pit stop, we are going to a road track for another type of racing. Hold on tight, this is the Grand Daddy of them all and is our way of bringing an exciting conclusion to each Season of MY FANTASY RACER. It sets the stage nicely for the following Season too.
In addition to winner your share of the $250,000.00 purse, the lucky winner will receive a racing dream vacation to the racing venue of your choice which will include, private jet transportation for four to the airport closest to your selected race; a chauffer driven limo from the airport to the racing facilities, plus on call service to take you to town, to dinner, or wherever you’d like to go. When and where appropriate, a custom motor coach parked at the track for your stay, enjoyment, and use, if track camping is not allowed, we will provide appropriate first class accommodations; ticketing for four to that venues racing schedule; ticketing for four to all VIP parties; three meals per each day of your stay and/or fully stocked motor coach; and much more.
The Grand Champion will also appear in a television commercial preceding the season premier for the following year and will return to serve as Grand Marshall for the following season’s Season Premier. You will give the command to the contestant of that episode to start their engines and drive the pace car to start the race. You will also have the opportunity to return for that Season’s Finale to help us crown the New Grand Champion. Oh, and by the way, you will be paid for your additional appearances in addition to receiving round trip transportation. Your accommodations will also be upgrade to something more befitting a reigning Grand Champion.
The total compensation package for your additional services will add up to approximately $100,000.00 on top of your previous winning. Not bad for having had fun!
