JANUARY 2010 UPDATES

JANUARY 2010 UPDATES

In this first update of the New Year, I would like to extend our sincere wishes that 2010 has already shown itself to be a year of promise and potential success. For us, although we are carrying baggage from 2009 into the New Year, gray sky are clearing up for us and the horizon shows much hope and promise.

I am sure that you can appreciate that I am obligated to use caution in the news and updates that I bring to you. I certainly don't want to be overly optimistic or appear to be making promises that I cannot support. Having said that, I also feel it is our responsibility to keep you abreast of developments occurring behind the scenes and encourage you that there is no obstacle that we cannot ultimately overcome. As was discussed in the November Update, the news of the Memphis Motorsports Park closing came as a surprising shock to us all. I certainly caused us to slam on the brakes and re-evaluate our position. Everything with respect to the show had been built around Memphis and that facility. I am happy to report that with only minor tweaks and adjustments here and there, the show is adaptable to other tracks and other situations. You can rest assured that we have been diligently pursuing all avenues of opportuntiy.

Over the Christmas Holiday, we were represented in Iowa with talks opening for consideration of the Iowa Speedway. we have also examined opportunities at the Nashville Speedway outside of Nashville, Tennessee. Although nothing is locked in stone as of the time of this Update, cost factors and convenience has us very seriously looking at those opportunities existing in Nashville.

No doubt, with a new facility certain elements of the show will be changed. For instance, the Nashville track is a 1.3 mile facility compared to the .75 mile track in Memphis. This means adjusting for higher speeds, which I'm sure none of you would complain about, but we have to be sure that our safety policies will accommodate these speeds. Beyond that, we will be replacing planned events like the tour of Graceland in Memphis for such things as visiting the Grand Ole' Opry and other venues. As you can see, for the most part we are simply talking about some ligistical changes and other minor tweaks that may adjust our bottom line to some degree. Once those bugs are worked out, you can expect a formal announcement will be made and the staff and crew will be scrambling to get us back on schedule immediately.

you may know that it is our goal to eventually move this operation to the Phoenix area, however the upfront cost to do so at this time cannot be absorbed during our first year and stay within an acceptable production budget. With 49 people involved in this operation, about half are in the Tennessee Valley along with our cars and equipment. We do feel that Nashville presents the best, and easiest transition for us at this time.

For what it is worth, you can read between the lines and expect to see applicable changes on the Web Site as we come nearer to making a more formal announcement. Please note that we will shift into high gear very soon and we encourage you to tell your family and friends about this show, direct them to this site, and have them hurry to register nd send in their applications before we close the early registration window. Keep you faith and prayers coming our way and know that the green flag is beginning to blow in the wind once again. Thanks for your understanding, patience, and continued loyalty.
