MY FANTASY
RACER is an exciting blend of Motorsports, Reality TV, and a TV Game Show. You, the fans of racing; extreme sports; speed shows; Television Game Show; and Reality TV will get the
opportunity to live a true Racing Dream with your hand on the wheel of one of our 700+ horsepower NASCAR
Nationwide Series style Race cars. You will receive professional race car
driver’s training and be assigned to your own professional instructor/coach who will guide you through your metamorphosis transforming you from Amateur Driver to a Driver who is qualified to race in one of our race car against others completing the same training with you.
Your Certified Race Car Driver Training will
include:
1. CLASSROOM: There will be three (3) different Classroom Training Sessions that you will attend over this four day event. Each Classroom Training Session is designed to increase your knowledge and your confidence as you prepare to maneuver your way through this maze successfully completing each level and graduating to race your fellow students in our no holds barred 40-LAP SHOOTOUT RACER and earning your share of the cash and prizes.
2. TRACK-SIDE TRAINING: This combines many things starting with a walk along the track as on of our Chief Training Instructors points out various areas of the track, things to watch for, the meaning of cones, and other information that you will need to be successful in this journey. You will also be introduced to our fleet of cars and learn some valuable information about racing mechanics, power, and safety equipment.3. RIDE-A-LONG EXPERIENCE: Long before we cut you loose in any of our cars, you will go for a Ride-A-Long Experience with your Training Coach. Better hang on tight because the world on the track is much different than it appears from the stands or on television. Considering the wall will be on your side of the car, it can be pretty intimidating your first time out. This sometimes will separate the men from the boys and the girls from the women. You will hit speeds faster than you've likely ever traveled before. WARNING:If you soil our uniforms, you will buy it!
4. PIT ROW TRAINING: No race car driver worth his/her salt would venture out on the track without understanding the basic of what happens on Pit Row. After all, Pit Row is the first heartbeat of the racing experience. Sure, you could argue that it is the cars, but without Pit Row and everything that happens behind the scenes in racing, the cars don't go. We feel this is so important that we've developed it into a Team Point Building Challenge. That's right, we're going to find out just how fast a four member team of amateur drivers can stack up to those times clocked by the professions. Other Pit Row Challenges will include a Tire Roll challenge maneuvering two racing tires from point "A" to point "B" for time.
5. FOLLOW THE PACE CAR: Your first behind the wheel experience will be with you and your Personal Instructor/Trainer. You will follow your Trainer trying to stay exactly one car length behind him/her. You ability to do so accurately will determine the speeds you reach and just how fast you graduate to the next level. Remember, if you fall behind to two car lengths, the pace car will slow down for you, if you close in too tightly, your Trainer will likely pull you into Pit Row for a little extra coaching. Stay with them and as the laps go by, your speeds will increase while your confidence and abilities prepare you for the pending race.
6. DRIVING WITH YOUR COACH: After you have proven that your skills behind the wheel following the pace car have reached the graduation level, your Trainer will risk life and limb by climbing into a passenger seat with you at the wheel. This will be your chance to get some real hands-on experience and your Trainer will point out some tricks specific to the Nashville Super-Speedway, which you will find helpful as you go through each level.
7. SOLO DRIVING ON THE TRACK: This is the last phase of the On-Track Training as you will practice your new found racing skills under the watchful eye of our Flagman and your Instructor/Trainer. You and your Trainer will communicate via our radio system. Please be careful what you say, remember this is a television show and we will be taping and recording. You will have the opportunity to lap many miles as you become more proficient and confident behind the wheel of our 700+ horsepower race cars. Your speeds may be regulated depending upon other students on the track at the same time. It is important for everyone to do their best trying to keep pace with each training level.
8. DRIVER'S ENDURANCE COURSE: Okay, so you think you've mastered the track (NOT) but we want to see how you fare at mastering the power of your car. We've set up a tricky, but fun Driver's Endurance Course to find out. This will be timed, so speed is important, but each cone that you knock over deducts points from your individual score. Don't worry, we won't ask you to parallel park our race cars, but you can count on every other road hazard to be out there waiting to surprise you.
9. INDIVIDUAL TIME TRIALS: No pressure here! This is your opportunity to show off your skills on the track all by yourself. The flagman will give you the green flag and from the start finish line, you will have three laps to give your best effort in our Time Trial Qualifying, a race against the clock. This is your last chance to build those all important points before the big 40-LAP SHOOTOUT RACE. This could mean the difference between securing the Pole Position or possible elimination and being excluded from the race. Also, all of your peers will be sizing you up just like you'll be doing when it's their turn.
10. THE 40-LAP SHOOTOUT RACE: This is the exciting conclusion of each episode of our show. 12 of our 16 weekly Contestants will have made it to this point in the competition and will be allowed to strut their stuff giving it all they have to see how they fare in an actual race to the checkered flag. Pole positions will be awarded in accordance with you individual point tally after the Qualifying Time Trial. Additionally, points will be awarded based on your finish in this race. Winning the race will merit being awarded a prize, but the overall point winner will be declared the MY FANTASY RACER WEEKLY CHAMPION and return for our exciting Season Finale GRAND CHAMPION episode and the chance to win $250,000.00 plus a racing fan's dream vacation for 4 to the US Racing Venue of your choice.
A WORD ABOUT POINTS: MY FANTASY RACER is a point-based television game show. In addition to earning points from your training and the schedule competitions at the track, we will be hosting many events at the host hotel, some team point building and some individual point building. The fun and excitement all begins on the night of arrival when we host our Meet and Greet Party. One Contestant will be awarded his/her first points based solely on first impressions by our secret panel of judges. Throughout this event you can participate in any number of events designed to be fun and help you build points. Sing yourself extra points or try your luck at our own version of Texas Hold-Em.
This show has been developed to create a level playing field for everyone who participates. The point-building system is designed to give granny an equal opportunity to fairly compete against any young buck. It will take much more than driving ability to win your episode. You will need every ounce of your cunning, wit, and strategy to capture our Crown.
We remind you that the spirit and intent behind this show is fun and thrill a minute excitement. Win, lose, or draw every player is a winner because you will have lived life, with your hand on the wheel of one of our race cars. How many people can claim to have lived their dream while being paid to do it?
Each week, we will award a total of $75,000.00 + in prizes and awards. Now that's what you call real economic stimulus. Our two-hour extended Season Finale, the 13th episode, our 12 previous Weekly Winners will return to face each other and compete in a longer 80-LAP SHOOTOUT RACE on the Super-speedway and an additional road course race in either High Performance Corvettes or Vipers. This exciting Season Finale will include the title of GRAND CHAMPION, the chance to win $250,000.00 in Cash and Prizes, and a Racing Fan's Dream Vacation for four to the racing venue of their choice complete with custom Motor Coach at the track and tickets to all VIP events. The Grand Champion will return to serve as Grand Marshall in following season's Season Premier.
